TV for the Feeble Minded

I figured I needed to make an effort and at least post once in 2009. Actually, my husband is driving me to do this because on this particular evening he's watching groups of amateur sailors race each other around the world on our television. The fact that this sport has its own channel just boggles my mind and I felt a strong urge to blog about it.

If cable can find a spot on TV for wanna be boaters could I possibly get my own network time? They could tape me doing the Taxi Dash. I'd head out from my house racing other mothers on my son's soccer team. We would see who could drop off their kid and run the most errands in an hour before we'd have to get our kids picked up from practice. Riveting television for sure.

Maybe the Costco Cart Crashes would be a more "edge of you're seat" sporting event. Those ladies who skipped breakfast just to get a decent parking spot at Costco are pretty fierce when it comes to getting the first samples at the end of each isle. I've whipped my cart around and taken out a couple of shoppers in my day for the organic/fat free delicacy they were offering me.

As luck would have it my husbands sailing "program" is over so until I get my own show maybe I can watch some real TV WWF anyone?
